Audio: Jimmer Fredette American Century Championship Conference Call

Jimmer Fredette just wrapped up a media conference call, talking about playing in this week’s American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament.  He made the call from Los Angeles, where he is attending the 2011 ESPYs.

Highlights

  • Would Jimmer play overseas? – “No, I haven’t actually thought about that.  I’m focusing on trying to get ready to play in the NBA.  It’s a whole different style of play and I haven’t gotten into it yet.  So I’m just going to be working hard, trying to get ready for this next NBA season.”
  • Jimmer said he hopes to meet Michael Jordan.  The Bobcats weren’t one of the teams he worked out for during the 2011 NBA Draft process.
  • If you’re wondering about his golf game, Jimmer says he’s played at least three or four times since the draft.  He just wants to have fun this week and meet other celebrities.

this is in regards to your espn article, particularly your comments on yao and his worthiness for the HOF. you compare him to bill walton, who was injury-plagued during his career, but he also won 2 rings, an MVP award, a finals MVP, and was one of the greatest big-men who played. you idiot.
