New Kings power forward J.J. Hickson spoke with media today following his trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Highlights

Hickson was on his way to his gym when he received a phone call from his agent informing him of the trade.
Like many NBA players, Hickson is training in Las Vegas and plans on staying there until the lockout is resolved.
Hickson hasn’t really had a lot of time to envision how he fits his new team yet. He said he will watch film to get a better idea of Paul Westphal’s system.

What “system”? Westphal has a system only in the barest sense of the word.

Maybe if we moved Evans, that might be different, but then Westphal would have to earn his pay a bit more by drawing up plays.

Or, ideally, we’d move him too.

and what is westphal pay ? earn his pay ? lol. Maloofs are still owners and its not like were going to get a great coach $$$ anytime soon.
