Grant and Jerry, the two voices of the kings that have been with us through thick and thin, sacramento all loves you. a sad, sad day for sacramento

WOW! I to was extremely emotional. Growing up as a kid and loving this team to death. Crying when Chris Webber got traded (I was 10) to now it is just so emotional. I’m now 17 but when I have kids I will tell them this story and take them to every local sports game I can
THIS IS OUR CITY
THIS IS OUR HOME
THIS IS OUR TEAM
And with that I sign off
Thank You Jerry, Grant and every past and present member of this organization (except the Moofs) you have given me so much that words can’t express
THANK YOU

Speechless…….

Not even a Kings fan as I’m an NY boy, but this broke my heart. Sacramento has some of the best fans in the league. Tons of fair-weather fans could learn a lot from you guys.
Keep the Kings amongst royalty. The league needs fans like this, and arenas like Arco.
Wishing you guys the best.

Jazz fan here. Loved the rivalry in the late 90s and early 00s and the decibel wars between the Delta Center and Arco. The end of Stockton/Malone and the rise of Webber/Williams then Webber/Bibby. This makes me sick to my stomach.

I know not everyone likes Grant and Jerry, but after hearing other broadcasters from the league, Sacramento fans are lucky. Thanks, Red and Jerry, for all the years, good and bad. While I don’t think this is good bye, it sure does feel like it.

I usually hate Grant, but like Jerry. I must say this gives me new respect for Grant Napear. Showed us they both really care about the team and the city they have worked hard for, for so long.
Thank you.

This is what sports does for us. Gives an emotional connection meant to inspire. I wish the Kings and the fans nothing but the best!
