SACRAMENTO, CA —- The Sacramento Kings today signed free agents Antoine Wright and Pooh Jeter to contracts, according to Kings’ Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Wayne Cooper. Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

    Kings Fans,

I am a Raptor supporter, but I am at least impressed with the direction that your franchise is going with Tyreke the Freak.

Dunno what you will get with Pooh Jeter, it is a crap-shoot. What you will get with Antoine Wright for a good bargain price is what Bruce Bowen and James Posey gives to their teams when they are playing right: Corner 3pt shooting and key match-up defense for 2′s and 3′s. He is not Ron Artest, that’s for sure, but he will give your young locker-room some fighting spirit when the chips are down. If he stays out of injury, he will be very key and serviceable.

For more details, he would of been a bust from the 2005 Draft, but through his 1st four years he was always stuck with Jason Kidd in the Nets and Mavericks. Being near Jason Kidd benefited his discipline and his obedience with the coaches that coached him (L. Frank and R. Carlisle) and it helped him find himself a specific role he cherished.

He is what Nocioni was supposed to give, but he only gave you slowness and DUIs.

Only problem of Antoine Wright is that your coaches must tell him to stop shooting threes ahead of the pack on a fast-break or else you Kings fans will pull out your hair. Also he might get small knee injuries as well, so expect some down time from him in the long-run of the season.
