I definitely think Sergio will bring a nice flair and energy to the second unit for this Kings team. He always seemed like a boxer who wants to just let the punches fly but is being forced to jab conservatively and tie up his opponent.

as a memphis resident i can tell you that you are spot on in regards to tyreke- i was very disappointed that the grizzlies didnt take tyreke although memphis really needed a big- tyreke will be a hall of famer- the best part of tyreke is that he is the most coachable player i have ever been around and he absolutely will not whine or complain to coaches, teamates or refs- quite simply he just laces up and plays ball- he will lead the league in free throw attempts- best of luck sac town

Plus you guys got Sergio aka spanish chocolate from us (blazers) who has been chomping at the bit to play his style of ball, much like Rubio's, for his whole NBA career now. Sergio has 3 years NBA experience under his belt, has a better jumpshot than Rubio (not saying much though), and will bring hard work and persistence. We will miss him but he did not fit Portlands' style of play unfortunately.

<a href="#comment-96" rel="nofollow">@J.B. </a>
Thanks, J.B.

I was absolutely furious that the Kings didn't draft Rubio initially because I wanted to watch him all season long. But as I calmed down and reconsidered it throughout the night, it's definitely the correct pick. The culture needed to change and it's starting to now.

I'll have my thoughts on Omri and the Sergio trade shortly.

Zach,

Nice work. I liked the Evans pick, though I must admit I was a little sad to not land Rubio. It's interesting to think that Evans is going to end up as more of a combo guard than a pure point, although I suppose with the Sergio trade we didn't have the same need for a pure point that we once did.

I like the Omri pick as well, although I hope this doesn't crowd out Donte.
